Hi fellow brothers and sisters I have a Toshiba Laptop with a ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 and can only get it to run on a vesa driver. The only thing different I needed to do was copy the xorg.conf.failsafe I had in /etc/X11 to xorg.conf.
