The output worked great with windows, but whenever I aticonfig --initial in Terminal, it says no supported adapters detected. I've been searching and searching and I haven't found anything that currently works, all the solutions are outdated and unsupported. http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...-start-789414/ Where can I find and how can I install free alternative driver? Had to remove that driver and reinstall mesa related packages, cos' was causing kde crashing, because a there was no libGL available.

Attempting to install the ATI Catalyst driver with one of these unsupported graphics adapters will usually result in a black screen, so if I were you I wouldn't even try it. Check the version of Ubuntu you have installed: Ubuntu 16.04 and newer releases: look at the 16.04+ column.
