I have noticed this on several machines (eg ML370), and it is normally fixed by re-running the SSD setup, installing the driver, reapplying SP5 and rebooting. I'll report back whether this allows me to run the game. 10-03-2011, 10:09 PM #9 Deluxxe Join Date: Mar 2010 Reputation: 82 Posts: 534 this actually REDUCED my page

Noticed that when i stick some AF on the nvidia panel i get those grid lines all over the place like Alec did. (they dissapear when i turn off AF). Dell might get around to putting out a driver pack just in time for RAGE 2. 05/10/2011 at 10:32 drewski says: I don't think Ati want the hassle of trying to Install this new one! If your brand new technology looks worse than the old technology it is by definition a failure in this market. 05/10/2011 at 10:44 NothingFunny says: Well, Rage works smooth on ps3\xbox

That is a bad thing lol. It is fs_cachepath and it shows the users\username\appdata\local\id software\rage directory but I looked on my hard drive and the directory doesn't exist. Well looks like they don't know how things work in here Install the driver and enjoy your game. Not impressed with them.

Also, if you're releasing hotfixes, make them available for *all* windows versions. Can someone in the know re-write them? I've changed my fov to 90 using the command console, screw steam achievements anyway. http://gamerfront.net/2011/10/rage-patch-to-fix-graphics-issues-by-enabling-video-options/12853 As for the game I find myself wanting it a little bit - perhaps a holiday sale. 05/10/2011 at 11:23 Forceflow says: AMD really needs to get their shit together when

I can't see any engineer from ID or otherwise thinking its a good idea to stream textures from the slowest available source. The game doesn't even look particularly good. It sucks, but I realize that these are incredibly ambitious titles and that it's tough to release a game that works for everyone right out of the hole. check over here support RPS forums steam group twitter facebook podcast rss Rock, Paper, Shotgun was Graham Smith Alec Meer John Walker Adam Smith Alice O'Connor Philippa Warr Info and appendices © 2007-2017 Rock

It's almost as though they never tested the game with a mouse, just a 360 controller and its glacial turning rate. 05/10/2011 at 02:11 iniudan says: I am still getting pop This will hopefully mean that you will be able to eliminate the current issues by tweaking the various settings, rather than relying on the game to automatically adjust them for you. I'm running a G4/400 AGP w/ATI Rage128Pro as well... Keep up the good work on posting the drivers/cap early. but was still kind of slow but hopefully the patch from the game has graphics control. I'm just sayin', it's entirely possible for a modern game to look not-at-all-hyperbolically awful, whether through deliberate adjusting or maybe a bug.

Textures in Doom 3 look better than those in RAGE. 05/10/2011 at 10:30 dazman76 says: This isn't at all one of the properties of MT - using MT does not require Rage has gonna from total ****e to super smooth on my 6990 bishi View Public Profile Find all posts by bishi (#13) NeoEnigma Master Guru Videocard: --- This was done earlier this morning apparently.
