Ubuntu 16.04 Amd Drivers My card seems be working just fine but with one exception, i cant run at 1280x1024. This driver provides 2D and 3D acceleration in your video hardware. fglrxconfig puts "GammaCorrection" options in xorg.conf and it sometimes messes up colors so it is better to comment them out. If you have one of these cards, a lighter desktop (such as XFCE or LXDE, found in Xubuntu and Lubuntu respectively) is recommended. In case you already used Compiz successfully on Ubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy), it is safe to skip the blacklist.
