The thing is that in the driver on my system info says its using Gallium 0.4 on ATI RS480. Also, Xorg windows start shaking if I haven't run apt-get upgrade recently. So I will appreciate if any of you can help me find a driver for it. and updated after changing driver to vesa.I can now use the desktop.I don't expect much from this hardware so using the Vesa driver does not bother me.I have tried to update Question 2: Is there a point in using the fglrx version?
Previous release: for the very latest cards, open-source driver support is not always instant; using proprietary fglrx/Catalyst driver may be necessary.
